Tech to Improve Carbon Footprint in Construction
Construction and the wider built environment currently account for around 40% of the world's global greenhouse emissions.
A recent report by Marsh and Guy Carpenter predicted a global construction output growth of 42% by 2030, growth that risks further pollution and waste within the industry to soar.
Projects such as 'HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct' have already managed to reduce embedded carbon by 28%.
To put this into perspective the amount of embedded carbon the project has managed to reduce is the equivalent of 234,500 flights from London to Edinburgh.
Team Buildout Fundraise Over £2,000 in Charity Challenge
We are pleased to share that the Buildout team have completed our charity challenge in aid of men's mental health, raising over £2,000 to fund prevention and support initiatives.
Throughout the month of November, which marks mens mental health month in the awareness calendar, our team have been participating in Move for Movember.
